Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a highly skilled networking professional with 8+ years of experience in Network Engineering with comprehensive IP Network knowledge who performs end-to-end services for clients using a consultative approach. Is required to support setup, maintenance, and upgrade of Networking infrastructure. Build and support production, development environments by improving existing tools and processes to automating deployment and monitoring procedures. Work with system administration teams and facilitate infrastructure provisioning.
Technical Skills:
Exposure in handling projects in Network, handling Cisco equipment.
Experience in integrating and troubleshooting IP networks
Excellent hands-on experience in RMA process, vendor dispatches
Knowledge in handling and updating runbooks
Hands on experience in Installation of WAPs
Coordination to Replace WAP, setting up Wi-Fi access points
Excellent hands-on experience in repairing Cisco equipment for Campus, WAN, and Data Centers.
Knowledge on routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP & MPLS
Hands on experience in IOS upgrades
6+ years of Networking infrastructure management experience.
Experience with managing multiple data centers, sites.
Experience with Cisco Nexus switches.
Experience with OSPF, BGP, IPSec on cisco routers.
Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
Arranging scheduled upgrades
Investigating faults in the network
Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
Reporting network status to key stakeholders
Has extensive knowledge on Cisco products, RMA, vendor Coordination
Process Skills:
Experience of Data Centre Infrastructure deployments involving routing, switching, Firewalls, Loadbalancer, etc.,
Experience in managing projects through use of processes like risk management, quality management, Issue/problem management & Scope change management
Consult Troubleshoot and Solve IT infrastructure issues working with Business, IT partners and various IT teams.
Innovation Management: Embrace innovation and drive IT partners to create, plan and implement innovative network and security infrastructure based on approved concepts, designs and according to IT policies and guidelines.
Ability to effectively manage relationships with other infrastructure teams, application teams, stakeholders, business and customer representatives.
Organizational skills with attention to task details, documentation, and target dates.
Effective interpersonal, team building and communication skills
Must know when to ask for assistance. Must be approachable, teachable, a team player with a strong desire to continue learning and expanding their experience in a highly evolving technical environment.
Must have good time management skills and be able to meet rigid and urgent assignment schedules.
Proven ability to influence the definition of technical strategies and design solutions
Qualification
Relevant experience of 6+ years
Must have excellent communication skills, flexibility to work in shifts
Bachelor s degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems
Certification:
CCNA / CCNP
