Solution Architect - Infor - CloudSuite Financials

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Solution Architect Cloud Suite Financials (CSF) to join our client's project implementation team. In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for providing configuration vision aligned with customer business objectives and best practices. Primary duties will include initiating Discovery tasks, documenting business requirements, and educating the client project team on best practices. Additionally, overseeing solution configuration, monitoring project scope, and leading key project team meetings will be part of the role's responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Provide configuration vision based on customer business requirements and objectives, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

Initiate Discovery tasks and thoroughly document business requirements to guide solution design and implementation.

Educate the client project team on the Lawson approach and best practices, facilitating knowledge transfer and ensuring alignment with project goals.

Document and present high-level solution designs to client project team members and consultants, ensuring understanding and buy-in.

Oversee solution configuration activities, ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices.

Monitor project scope to identify and mitigate scope creep, working with and advising client team members and consultants on proposed scope changes.

Review team deliverables and monitor the quality of project teamwork products to ensure alignment with project objectives.

Attend and/or lead key project team meetings, developing agendas as appropriate to ensure effective communication and progress tracking.

Lead and facilitate meetings and workshops as required, driving collaboration and decision-making among stakeholders.

Develop and deliver presentations for clients and project teams to communicate project status, milestones, and key deliverables effectively.

Oversee Foundation Training, creation of Business Cases and Test Scripts, Prototype and Validation exercises, Process owner training, System testing, and Final system configuration.

Provide input into the go/no-go decision, leveraging expertise to assess project readiness and alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in Cloud Suite Financials (CSF) Project Management Implementations.

Extensive hands-on experience in implementing CSF projects.

Willingness and ability to travel as necessary to client sites.

Willingness to work extended hours as necessary to meet project deadlines and deliverables.v
