Overview:
NaphCare is hiring a Software Implementation Specialist to join the team on-site at our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL 35216.
The Software Implementation Specialist will be a member of the NaphCare Information Technology Team whose objective is to successfully introduce, implement, train, and maintain the clinical and operational functionality of uniquely tailored versions of the TechCare EHR Solution.
The successful candidate will act as a liaison between customers and NaphCare’s EHR Development and Operations teams, with a focus on driving the progression and the long-term use of the TechCare EHR. This role will manage customer process reviews leading to software customizations, training team oversight, and process management. This role requires an average of 3-6 business days of travel per month.
The preferred candidate will have a proven history of Project Leadership and hands-on EHR Experience. The ideal candidate also has basic technical (relational database) awareness.
Hybrid position consideration after minimum of 3 months working on-site in the Corporate Office in Birmingham, AL.
Responsibilities:
Client-facing liaison between the TechCare EHR Development Team and Clinical Operations
Help guide the evolution of TechCare EHR through multiple project phases including, but not limited to: application requirements gathering, interface requirements gathering, development, and Go Live
Work with client stakeholders and NaphCare’s internal teams to coordinate projects
Maintain project plans, flow charts, mockups, and other project management/requirements documentation
Manage multiple projects and provide regular status updates to Project Directors, NaphCare Leadership, and Client Stakeholders.
Assist with the organization, management, and oversight of the Software Project team
Conduct internal support "hand-off" sessions
Coordinate go-live scheduling, support, and transition activities with clients and NaphCare teams
Support TechCare EHR sales and marketing activities
Attend industry events and participate in TechCare EHR User Groups
Qualifications:
PMP a plus
4+ years of experience of software project management and implementation
Proficiency using software systems; project management of a software solution and super-user EHR experience strongly preferred
Ability to travel to NaphCare’s facilities across the country to complete job responsibilities is required
Demonstrated excellence in customer service and communication skills, with both internal and external clients and vendor partners
Experience working in and leading a team-based, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment
High level of comfort with learning, building and applying skills in both public forums and technical areas
Adept at translating technical language and concepts to end users, as well as clinical workflows to technical terms
Ability to manage individual tasks and move projects or features towards known goals with minimal supervision
