Overview:
Provides enterprise-level end-user technical support for Information Services customer groups in a geographically dispersed environment. Duties include triaging production requests scheduling, researching hardware and software compatibility, consultation and performing technical tasks according to department and divisional standards. Supervises and mentors the staff assigned to a specific zone within Customer Support and contributes to staff evaluations.  Participates in after-hours on call responsibilities, maintenance of support documentation, multi-tasking assignments and effectively utilizes time management skills.

Qualifications:
Education

High School Diploma/GED required

AA or AS degree preferred 

Special Skills/Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years’ experience with desktop computer equipment support.  Degree(s) may substitute for experience.

Must exhibit advanced knowledge of desktop, notebook, and personal device hardware, software, and peripherals. 

Must demonstrate knowledge of advanced PC/network integration.

Must display strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills

Prefer familiarity with healthcare information system.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
