User Experience Design Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative User Experience (UX) Design Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and leading the user experience and user engagement aspects of our new AI-driven interactive end-user tool, AskRegn-AI. This tool will enable Regeneron users to find, install, and consume AI applications through a sophisticated web and mobile interface. The UX Design Lead will ensure that both the chatbot and web interfaces provide a seamless and engaging user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Leadership:

Lead the UX design process from concept to completion for the AskRegn-AI tool.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, AI specialists, and product managers to create a cohesive and engaging user experience.

Develop and maintain design guidelines, best practices, and standards.

User Research and Testing:

Conduct user research to understand the needs, behaviors, and pain points of different types of AI users, including end users, developers, and AI evangelists.

Perform usability testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the user experience.

Interaction Design:

Design intuitive and interactive user interfaces for both the chatbot and web UI.

Ensure that the chat and web interfaces are interdependent and adapt based on user interactions.

Prototyping and Wireframing:

Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas effectively.

Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with the development team to ensure the implementation of the design aligns with the user experience vision.

Communicate design concepts and solutions clearly to stakeholders and team members.

User Engagement:

Develop strategies to enhance user engagement and satisfaction.

Monitor and analyze user engagement metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.

Proven experience as a UX Designer, UX Lead, or similar role.

Strong portfolio showcasing your UX design skills and projects.

Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.

Experience with user research and usability testing.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to think critically and solve complex design problems.

Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts is a plus.
