Eleven Recruiting is searching for a 5-Axis CNC Programmer to join one of our largest Aerospace Clients sitting onsite in El Monte CA. Under direct supervision, is responsible for the creation, editing, and optimization of CNC programs to produce mechanical parts on 3 and 5 axis CNC machines. This role involves developing highly diversified and complex programs for milling, drilling, boring, and tapping of Aerospace parts while adhering strictly to safety protocols within the manufacturing plant. The incumbent must be proficient in explaining their role within the Quality Management System (QMS) and how it contributes to product quality and safety. Ethical conduct in alignment with company policies and procedures is essential.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Maintain and implement AS 9100 procedures and participate in continuous improvement efforts.

Ensure strict adherence to departmental processes, safety regulations, and best practices.

Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for enhanced efficiency.

Design holding fixtures and select appropriate cutting tools as required for machining operations.

Collaborate effectively with Program Management, Production, and Quality departments to ensure optimal workflow.

Keep CNC programs updated to reflect current print/model revisions.

Work efficiently to meet deadlines and production schedules.

Assume accountability for the efficiency and quality of assigned duties.

Promptly report any issues or difficulties to the supervisor and propose viable solutions.

Understand the implications of product failure on customer satisfaction.

Education And Experience:

Minimum of 10 years' experience in writing CNC programs using CATIA and Vericut in a machining environment.

Previous work experience as a machinist or equivalent is advantageous.

Proficiency in Catia/Mastercam software or equivalent, as well as G&M codes.

Ability to interpret and comprehend process work instructions, blueprints, and engineering drawings.

Hands-on experience operating various basic machine shop equipment such as drills, mills, lathes, grinders, and saws.
