Job Requirements / Description
? 10-12 years of experience working with large MS SQL Server 2016, 2017, 2019 databases in a 24 x 7 x 365 production environment
? Good performance tuning experience, using all available tools like SolarWinds, Query Store and methods to investigate and make recommendations to improve slow performing queries and procedures at the database and server level.
? 10+ years of hands-on experience operating MS SQL servers and related technologies in Azure.
? Very good understanding of database encryption, high-availability, disaster recovery, database replication, backup/restore.
? Must be detailed oriented, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be an aggressive self-starter.
? A strong sense of customer service, attention to detail, and issue ownership.
? Understanding of ITIL concepts desired.
