Job Description:
Performance Contracting is seeking an entry level IT Service Desk Intern for is Corporate office based in Lenexa, KS. Over summer 2025, this individual will be designated a mentor and will have the following responsibilities:
Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, systems, and applications.
Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support.
Shadow Agile development group and participate in core ceremonies.
Lend IT support in areas such as cybersecurity, software development, quality assurance, and business analytics.
Requirements:
Basic Requirements
Must be a currently enrolled student seeking a Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems degree or comparable degree
Interested in the IT Service Desk
Reliable source of transportation
Minimum Requirements
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
Customer service skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask
Preferred Requirements
Local to the KC Metro Area
