Link Solutions is seeking a Network Administrator (Associate-Level) to join our team in support of the US Army's Network Enterprise Center at Fort Leonard Wood, MO.
Must be a US Citizen
Secret Clearance required
Non-remote (relocation incentive available)
As a Network Administrator (Associate-Level) you will play a vital role in managing and maintaining computer networks to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Government information assets. This will include support for network design, security management, advanced troubleshooting, and ensuring overall network performance and compliance with Army standards.

Job Responsibilities:
Support the design and implementation of network infrastructure to meet operational requirements, including planning for scalability, redundancy, and security.
Support the deployment and configuration of advanced network systems, such as firewalls, load balancers, and VPN concentrators.
Handle complex network issues that require in-depth analysis.
Act as an escalation point for the Network Support Technicians.
Implement and enforce network security policies, including access control, firewall rules, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Support and/or conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to ensure network integrity.
Monitor network performance and implement optimization strategies, such as traffic shaping, load balancing, and quality of service (QoS) configurations.
Analyze network usage patterns and make recommendations for capacity planning and resource allocation.
Maintain and update network configurations, including VLANs, routing protocols, and access control lists (ACLs).
Ensure configurations are backed up and recoverable in case of failure.
Ensure the network adheres to Army regulations and cybersecurity standards, including those set by the Department of Defense (DoD).
Work with cybersecurity teams to implement and maintain compliance with relevant frameworks and guidelines.
Provide training and mentorship to Network Support Technicians, helping them develop their skills and knowledge.
Participate in network-related projects, coordinating tasks among team members and ensuring successful completion.
Support the development and maintenance of disaster recovery plans for the network infrastructure.
Install, administer, support, and maintain server hardware, peripherals, software, and operating systems.
