Responsibilities:
We are seeking a talented Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic Enterprise Technologies team where you will be instrumental in creating solutions to help Noblis increase efficiency, and ultimately, grow our business as a science and technology powerhouse. As our new Business Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of driving change and improvement across our business processes. You'll have the opportunity to dive deep into complex problems, uncover insights, and craft innovative solutions that will make a significant impact on our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. As part of our Project and Product Management group, you'll have the chance to develop and expand your skills while contributing to critical business systems and processes.

 

Responsibilities

You will be a member and grow into a leader of an Agile Scrum cross-functional team maintaining and leading a variety of web applications that align with the strategic goals of the organization. The team is part of Enterprise Technologies that supports Noblis employees, subcontractors, and clients. We collaborate closely with other Shared Services divisions and work with end-users to gather feedback and improve our solutions. 



While this position requires individual work, it will be in a highly collaborative team environment where you will be actively engaged and involved with an Agile project team on a daily basis.

 

Qualified candidate will provide technical support to Noblis-directed software development solutions and projects, to include: 

Active participation in agile ceremonies including release planning, iteration planning, daily stand-up, grooming, and retrospective.

Meeting with clients to gather requirements.

Understanding client priorities to advocate for application development.

Decomposing and analyzing feature requests.

Developing solutions to satisfy customer needs.

Developing user stories to team standards.

Generating wireframes for feature requests.

Conducting user engagement sessions to gather user feedback.

Maintaining application documentation.

Testing bug fixes and new features to meet acceptance criteria.

Troubleshooting and triaging user issues.

Managing other business tasks, such as the organization’s license portfolio.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business or a related field OR Master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, business, or related field. 

0 to 2+ years of experience in requirements analysis, data analysis, or a similar role.

Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to apply a methodical approach to solving complex problems including gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing data, and providing thoughtful recommendations and innovative solutions.

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers and users, and maintaining documentation.

Ability to grasp the big picture while managing details.

Desired Qualifications:
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment; Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience is a bonus.

Proactive with growth mindset and commitment to relentless improvement for you, the team, and solutions.

Ability to support multiple projects and applications simultaneously.

Certified Product Owner or equivalent agile certification.

Experience working with project management tools, such as Atlassian suite.

Knowledge of business process modeling and documentation tools such as Visio.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.

 

Posted Salary Range:
USD $50,900.00 - USD $79,550.00 /Yr.
