Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle CCS Integration Specialist with a strong background in integrating Oracle Customer Cloud Services (CCS) with Head End Systems (HES), particularly ITRON UIQ, using Oracle Smart Grid Gateway (SGG). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in customizing or developing new adapters using the Oracle SDK to facilitate seamless communication between CCS and HES platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Integration Development: Lead the integration of Oracle CCS with Head End Systems (HES) like ITRON UIQ using Oracle Smart Grid Gateway (SGG).
Adapter Customization: Customize or develop new adapters using the Oracle SDK to ensure effective data exchange between CCS and HES.
Technical Expertise: Provide deep technical expertise in Oracle SGG, including designing, developing, and deploying solutions that meet specific business requirements.
Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of the integration to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve integration issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain system stability.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the integration processes, including design specifications, testing procedures, and user guides.
Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to align integration efforts with business objectives.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of [5 years] experience in integrating Oracle CCS with Head End Systems (HES), with a strong preference for experience with ITRON UIQ.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Smart Grid Gateway (SGG) and experience with Oracle SDK for adapter customization or development.
Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in Java, Groovy, or similar languages, with experience in developing middleware solutions.
Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, or a related field. Advanced certifications in Oracle technologies are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience integrating Oracle applications with other Head End Systems (HES) e.g., ITRON UIQ or others.
Experience with Oracle Utilities applications such as Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), Customer to Meter (C2M), or other related platforms.
