Position Title: Full Stack Developer

Location:

REMOTE - However, must be local to ensure candidate can work onsite at Camp Pendleton, CA immediately when requested

Position Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $115,000 - $125,000

Security Clearance Requirement: Position requires active security clearance

Certification Requirements:

Security + CE

Roles and Responsibilities:

Developer works with team to drive knowledge transfer across the organization through maximizing the utilization of existing systems and available resources. Work side-by-side with DevOps understanding the appropriate use of file systems, cloud storage, network resources, and an understanding of data redundancy and availability, as necessary.

Developer will participate in evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development of a database infrastructure supporting the USMC. Possesses the ability to "step back" from a system and look at a process that needs multiple clicks and various steps, and get it down to the minimal number of clicks for full efficacy.

Responsible for designing, building and maintaining significant enterprise applications.

Provide core and shared infrastructure services application development and maintenance services.

Implement services to expand information sharing throughout USMC, add, modify, and delete functionality based on client requirements, upgrade and support tools as newer versions are released, improve application and Web performance, and migrate legacy applications and Web services to core and shared infrastructure services.

Assist with developing SOPs and documentation for systems and processes.

Troubleshoot issues for other users if applicable.

Provide application and systems training to staff and customers.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology related field (preferred; not required); or

Certification listed above accepted in lieu of higher education; and

Experience equal to degree level

Required Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Experience working collaboratively in a remote team environment

Possess an array of functional knowledge supporting global operations and developments at multiple sites

Knowledge of relational databases and database design

Strong fundamentals in HTML / CSS , and JavaScript, including Es6+ features

Strong understanding of TypeScript

Proficient in asynchronous programming operations

Experience with React JS, familiar with React Hook Forms, and knowledge of Material UI or similar UI libraries

Understanding of component-based architecture and state management

Comfortable working with RESTful services and APIs

Ability to design, develop, and consume APIs

Knowledge of relational database design and querying (e.g. SQL)

Comfortable with GIT version control technology and modern Git Flow methodology

Ability to debug complex applications in browser or locally

Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools (e.g. Jest, React Testing Library)

Experience with build tools and package managers (e.g., Vite, Webpack, npm, Yarn)
