The Role: 

 

The Business Development Analyst is crucial in leveraging our CRM application to drive strategic sales initiatives and foster business growth. This role is designed for a strategist and analyst who understand the nuances of the sales environment and can translate CRM data into actionable business insights. Working closely with Business Development, Finance, Strategy, IT, and Data Analytics, the analyst will ensure our CRM strategy aligns with our broader business objectives, focusing on process improvement, data integrity, and sales effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
Perform strategic analysis of CRM data to drive business decisions and business development strategies. Act as the primary analyst for interpreting CRM data.

Oversee data quality for Business Development; verify, reconcile, input, and clean data as needed.

Liaise between Business Development, Finance, Strategy, IT, and Data Analytics to align CRM system with business goals.

Provide actionable insights from CRM data, emphasizing the enhancement of business development processes and effectiveness.

Create and publish weekly Business Development report content for both Executive use and distribution around the enterprise.

Ad hoc research support for specific needs; account or project overviews, strategy research, market analysis, etc.

Assist in development, improvement, documentation, and implementation of BD Standard Operating Procedures.

Drive the continuous improvement of CRM-related business development processes, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.

Develop, enhance, and deliver CRM training and support materials, coordinating with Learning & Development as needed.

Lead strategic initiatives to enhance business development performance and effectiveness, utilizing an iterative and data-informed approach.

Travel to regional offices and jobsites as required.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required

1-2+ years of relevant experience

A clear understanding of the enterprise sales process?

Excellent written and verbal communication skills?

Self-motivated and independent, with the ability to work collaboratively with others

Business oriented looking to drive actionable results

Problem-solver with great attention to detail?

Preferred Attributes:

 

Candidate possesses experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM systems.

Familiarity with enterprise software backend functionality, querying and reporting to be able to interface with Data Analytics and IT.

Construction industry experience.

 

Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.
