Job Notes:
--3+ month contract
--Onsite in Lexington, KY.
--Drug & Background check required.
The ideal candidate has experience working with Cisco routers and switches and is proficient with CLI. Customer is looking for individual that has obtained their CCNA or has demonstrated working capacity at that level.
Position Responsibilities:
--Unbox and inventory Cisco network equipment
--Stage, upgrade and configure using Customer standard configuration templates
--Perform Installation duties of network equipment (as required)
--Validate network equipment connectivity
Position Requirements:
--Demonstrate knowledge and skills in the following areas: Networking fundamentals, basic computer concepts, computer networking terminology, internetworking technology, TCP/IP protocols, LAN technologies, network implementation, basic network administration and troubleshooting, network testing, network documentation
--Must be able to comply with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, ordinances, and orders applicable to the position
