Talent Masters is representing an amazing non-profit with a mission to help people recovering from addiction. They are in need of a web-developer for a 3 month project to help complete a face-lift on their website. This has the potential to extend to a more permanent role in the long-term.

As a Contract Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing, coding, and modifying websites and web applications to meet project specifications. You will collaborate with our design and development teams to create responsive, user-friendly websites that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Development: Design, build, and maintain web applications with a focus on performance and user experience.

Project Collaboration: Work closely with designers to implement responsive design and match visual intent.

Content Management: Update and maintain website content using CMS platforms like WordPress or Drupal.

Performance Optimization: Ensure websites are optimized for speed, scalability, and functionality.

Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix issues, ensuring cross-browser compatibility.

Technology Integration: Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.

Security and Compliance: Implement web security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including technical specifications and user guides.

Adaptability: Stay current with emerging web technologies and apply them to contract projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience: 2+ years of experience in web development with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.).

Experience with back-end development (PHP, Python, Ruby, Node.js, etc.).

Familiarity with databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).

Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

Experience with web frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).

Ability to create responsive and mobile-first designs.

Understanding of SEO best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with e-commerce platforms and payment gateway integration.

Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Contract Duration: 3 months

Hours: 9 a.m. 5 p.m. EST
