Position Summary:
This position is responsible for reviewing and redlining IT-related clauses in contracts and overseeing the IT-related infrastructure at our physical office facilities. The role is crucial in ensuring that our contractual agreements are aligned with IT capabilities and that our office facilities are equipped with robust and secure IT systems. This role reports directly to the Director, IT Infrastructure and works closely with legal, procurement, and facilities management teams. Effective collaboration with these teams is essential to ensure seamless contract review processes and the efficient management of IT systems across office facilities.

Responsibilities:
Contract review and redlining

Review contracts and legal documents for IT-related clauses.

Redline and revise contracts to align with company standards.

Collaborate with legal, procurement, and IT teams to ensure favorable terms.

Facilities IT Management

Oversee IT infrastructure in office facilities, including networking and security.

Coordinate with vendors for IT related equipment maintenance and upgrades.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Plan and implement IT aspects of office expansions, renovations and closures.

Other work duties as assigned.

Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Proven experience in reviewing and redlining IT-related clauses in contracts;

Strong understanding of legal terminology and contract law;

In-depth knowledge of networking, telecommunications, access control, security cameras and cybersecurity;

Experience in managing IT systems in a corporate environment;

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail;

Ability to communicate complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders;

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks;

Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.

EDUCATION:

Post-secondary diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field;

Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT contract review and facilities IT management;

A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Working Conditions:
Office environment with limited physical effort, continuous mental effort, and frequent complex requests for assistance;

May require working outside regular business hours to minimize migration impacts on business operations;

Will require travel 50% of time to visit company office locations or data centers throughout North America.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS & DEMANDS:

Primarily sedentary work;

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects;

Repetitive motions and substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers;

The incumbent is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
