Description:

Toyota is pioneering several different development efforts to increase security within Toyota’s vehicle ecosystem. This role creates cloud security services used by vehicles and other teams to implement code signing, encrypting, and more.

Activities:

Create Golang based microservices and libraries

Perform code reviews

Contribute to our coding standards and practices

Implement cryptographic algorithms for signing and encrypting

Work with different teams for end-to-end testing

Guide and Contribute to our architecture and infrastructureture

Create and guide internal documentation processes

Requirements

Strong communication skills, specifically giving/receiving constructive feedback in a collaborative setting

Minimum of 4 years of programming experience (i.e., C, C++, C#, Rust, Golang)

Good understanding of API design and implementation with security practices

You should have an excellent working knowledge of authorization vs authentication and how one would apply it to an overall architecture

REST and gRPC for microservice API design and implementation.

Experience with AWS infrastructure and services, including deploying and securing applications and sensitive data in cloud environments.

Practical, hands-on experience developing on AWS services such as S3, SNS\SQS, DynamoDB, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.

Demonstrable ability to architect, build, and operate distributed
systems to solve problems

Experience in secure coding
