Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ and Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Provide horizontal risk and control governance oversight for GT, inclusive of regulatory exams, risk reviews and remediation, issues management, third party and change management, self-assessments, regulatory reporting, policy management and business operations
Responsible for several governance programs including Risk Assessment, RCSA, Risk Identification, Electronic Communications Retention Governance, Service Execution, Horizontal Risk Governance, Central Reporting and several business controls
Accurate documentation and notation of governance routines and stakeholder meetings
Quickly comes up to speed and demonstrates basic acumen in GT risk management practices and framework
Thorough, consistent attention to detail and identification of discrepancies or errors in documents, data sets or procedures
Timely, accurate execution of standard operating procedures
Schedule and track individual and group tasks to proactively meet timelines and due dates
Effective identification and correction of formatting, grammatical or timestamp errors on presentations and documents
Recommend or raise identified issues or process improvement opportunities
Consistently lead collaboration and influences teammates to ensure on-time or early delivery of tasks
Eagerly and proactively dive in when teammates need assistance or are over capacity
Requirements:
3-5+ years' experience
Moderate Excel skills
Advanced PowerPoint skills
Moderate Word skills
Beginner to moderate SharePoint skills
Moderate to advanced communications and editorial writing skills
Advanced notetaking and meeting management skills
Moderate to advanced problem-solving skills
Beginner to moderate end-to-end process or procedure management
Ability to consume large amounts of materials, which may include laws, regulations or policies, with an eye for quality output
Proven ability to prioritize and successfully navigate multiple deliverables
Demonstrated desire to learn and research related content
Ability to remain nimble and positive when priorities change and Adhoc needs arise
Self serves and exhausts available resources or asks clarifying questions when work is ambiguous
Demonstrates responsiveness and prompt follow up on tasks or questions
Driven by a sense of urgency
Strong focus on consistency
Outgoing and eager to learn
Effective prioritization of workbench deliverables
Timely follow-up on requests and questions
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Desired skills:
Experience working in a highly regulated industry or financial institution
Previous interaction with senior level managers
Risk management or issues management experience
Degree or certification in compliance, risk management, business or communications
