Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scrum Master/Project Manager to join our dynamic team at One Park Financial. This high-profile, hybrid role requires a dedicated professional who can effectively balance the responsibilities of a Scrum Master and Project Manager. The ideal candidate will lead our agile teams to deliver high-quality products and services, ensuring alignment with our business goals and client expectations. This role demands a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for continuous improvement. On the project side, you’ll use your strong interpersonal skills to identify and engage with project stakeholders and then manage all ongoing communications to ensure all are kept informed and on task at an appropriate level. This role is a senior, and experienced member of the department and, as such, you’ll be expected to take on additional responsibilities beyond the scope of their immediate job. These will be agreed on an individual basis.

 

Requirements

Scrum Master Responsibilities:

Working across multiple distributed teams, facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives across engineering teams.

Establish working agreements and ensure the teams follow agile principles and practices.

Remove impediments and protect the team from external distractions.

Coach team members on agile methodologies and practices.

Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence.

Collaborate with Product Owners/Product Managers to manage and prioritize the product backlog.

Track and report on team progress and metrics to stakeholders.

Conduct and maintain capacity/resource planning

Enumerate tasks, set clear sprint performance standards, resolve sprint performance issues, and drive accountability/engagement within delivery teams

Track and report on sprint metrics (completed, committed, carryover, burndown, etc.)

Project Management Responsibilities:

•  Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, schedules, and status reports.

•  Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.

•  Manage project risks, issues, critical paths, and dependencies.

•  Communicate project status, progress, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.

•  Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

•  Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned.

·    Manage documentation and organization of Atlassian tools JIRA/Confluence

Requirements:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

•  Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.

•  4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or in a similar role.

•  Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

•  Strong understanding of agile methodologies, principles, and practices.

•  Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

•  Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

•  Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.

•  Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Airtable, ProductPlan, Confluence, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

•  Experience in the financial services industry.

•  PMP certification.

•  Experience with IT projects.

•  Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services.
