Key Responsibilities
Install and maintain DB2 using System Modification Program Extended (SMPE)
Manage and execute migrations to newer versions of DB2
Participate in impact analysis to determine the effect on DB2 and develop resolutions for identified issues
Review hold data for maintenance updates and plan for system migrations
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure systems are running efficiently and effectively
Skills & Qualifications
8 years of IT experience, including extensive systems programming experience
Extensive experience in systems programming, specifically with DB2
Proficiency in DB2 installation, maintenance, and migration
Strong analytical skills to assess system impacts and develop solutions
Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, OR a related field.
The hourly range for this position is $70 - $74/hour. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
