Sr. SAP Supply Chain SME

Description:

Provides expert level business process guidance on DoD requirements and design. Requires experience with Naval operational supply processes. Develop scenario demonstrations. Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.

Works with client organizations to design and implement supply chain and logistics performance strategies, tactics, and infrastructures to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their procurement, production and distribution operations as well as meeting their financial objectives. Estimates time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement project; develops project plan incorporating all project variables.

Develops and manages a wide range of projects which include but are not limited to global supply chain optimization, software selection and development, strategic sourcing, and logistics network design. Identifies clients' problems, opportunities, and risks, gathers, and analyzes relevant data. Evaluates alternative strategies, develops reports, and presents findings to clients. Helps clients develop the tools, processes and knowledge base needed to create customer value, build competitive advantage, and boost profitability. Conducts client interviews and facility visits. Works with clients to implement solutions. May be assigned responsibility for the management of the function, including associated staff.

Required Skills:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with proven record of accomplishment of success in optimizing supply chain operations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong leadership and communication skills

Preparing/conducting briefings, demos, or training sessions for Senior Leadership.

Demonstrated experience presenting briefing to senior customer management and customer stakeholders.

Familiar with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures.

Active Secret Clearance (must be clearable)

Proven success within the Navy / DOD, related to supply chain, logistics, operations,

Preferred Skills:

Federal experience desired (DoD experience preferred)

DoD clearance required (must be clearable

Minimum Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, supply chain management, mathematics, engineering, or other relevant discipline. An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for the bachelor s degree.

Job Duties:

Serve as a Naval Supply SME with a focus on maintenance transactions, pack up kits (PUKs) and material sourcing (60%)

Prepare/conduct briefings, demos or training sessions as needed. (40%)
