Job Title: Data Analyst II (Media Insights Analytics)
Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months (Potential To Extend)
Type: Full-time, Contract
Description:
The Media, Insights, & Analytics team is growing within our client s internal agency. The Data Analyst is responsible for working hand in hand with media planners, social media managers, account managers, and brand managers to set up tracking, manage reports, develop insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Measurement
Partner with media and social team to create measurement framework by understanding client goals
Establish KPIs and evaluate benchmarks
Reporting:
Generate monthly campaign performance reports to deliver to internal stakeholders
Extract and organize data from multiple data sources from internal and external stakeholders (media, social, paid search, website, etc)
Create data visualizations for use in reports
Analyze data and develop insights and recommendations based on the data
Tagging:
Understand media tagging and QA process
Ensure proper media tracking and ad serving. QA all click-throughs and conversions
Work with media team to create CIDs/UTMs to track activity
Top Required skills:
Generate monthly campaign performance reports to deliver to internal stakeholders
Understand media tagging and QA process and ensure proper media tracking and ad serving
Experience with DCM
Analyze data and develop insights and recommendations based on the data
Establish KPIs and evaluate benchmarks
Required Qualifications:
3+ years experience
Media agency background is preferred but not required
Required Platform Experience:
Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics
DCM/Campaign Manager 360
Looker Studio or other dashboard and data visualization tools
Other Platform Experience Preferred but not Required:
PowerBI
Social Media Campaign Management Tools (Meta and LinkedIn)
SEM Rush
Other Success Factors:
Knowledge of data sets and platforms and how they tie together
Entrepreneurial mindset contribute to energized discussions on expanding business possibilities with data, and identify ways to improve processes
