JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dedicated IT Regional Support Technician to provide comprehensive onsite support for hardware and software across engineering, manufacturing, and corporate sectors, ensuring seamless operation by adhering to best practices. The role entails direct response to IT assistance requests, participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation, and managing various IT needs and projects for two sites consolidating into one by mid-2025. This full-time position involves a typical Monday-Friday shift with potential overtime and weekend support in the Greater Raleigh/Durham, NC area, requiring reliable transportation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Respond onsite to IT assistance requests, entering manufacturing areas, labs, and cleanrooms while following guidelines.
Part of 24x7x365 on-call rotation, providing after-hours support as needed.
Document and maintain processes, best practices, knowledge bases, and training materials.
Support all manufacturing IT needs including software, computers, printers, infrastructure, and other 3rd-party hardware.
Coordinate with multiple IT departments to facilitate issue resolution and project completion.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Solid experience and knowledge in Microsoft and Linux Operating Systems.
Demonstrable troubleshooting skills using a methodical approach.
Strong knowledge and experience in Active Directory environments.
