Senior Applications Developer (Oracle)
MBA CSi requires a senior software developer to support the US Postal Service. You will work in the USPS Engineering HQ facility located in Merrifield, VA, in support of the Automation Support Group.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform Client-Server application development using Oracle 12c/19c
· Perform WebLogic Administration by managing Oracle WebLogic application and utilities
· Install applications on WebLogic, performing upgrades, doing patching and troubleshooting problems
· Perform regular maintenance checks, performance tuning and support customer issues
· Plan, design, develop, test and deploy applications
· Write SQL Queries for application development and report generation
· Develop complex database objects like Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages using SQL and PL/SQL
Requirements:
· At least 5 years of Client-Server application development using Oracle 11g/12c/19c
· At least 3 years of WebLogic Administration skills
· Extensive Client-Server application development experience using SQL and PL/SQL
· An in-depth knowledge of Oracle database management.
· A thorough understanding of programming languages like Java, C++, Apex, and PL/SQL is required to correctly code information into Oracle databases.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to document design and support needs
· Ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred but not required:
· Experience working in a virtualized environment
· Help Desk or Customer Support experience
Clearance Requirement:
· The candidate must be able to obtain a sensitive security clearance from the US Postal Service.
