Responsibilities:
Project Overview: This project is a ServiceNow HelpDesk implementation.
Position Overview: I oversee the full lifecycle of ServiceNow implementations, from initial planning and design through to deployment and post-implementation support. Work closely with key stakeholders—including business leaders, developers, and product owners—to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Throughout the project, the employee will collaborate with development and testing teams to remove roadblocks, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery. Additionally, manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to achieve on-time and within-budget delivery.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience managing IT projects, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow project management or related platforms.
In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, and other enterprise workflows.
Proven ability to lead complex IT projects with a focus on IT service management (ITSM) and enterprise service delivery.
Strong leadership skills with experience guiding cross-functional teams, managing escalations, and resolving conflicts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Ability to identify and resolve project-related issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring smooth project delivery.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, ServiceNow) and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Clearance: Candidate will need to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
Location: Preference for candidates to be in the Virginia, DC or Maryland area and able to come into the office once a week but will also consider fully remote candidates
