JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Sales Data Analyst to enhance the performance of our Mid Market Sales organization. The ideal candidate will specialize in creating automated dashboards/reports, performing ad hoc analysis for generating actionable insights, and designing customer segmentation & territory plans. This role aims to drive significant sales growth through detailed analytics and insight generation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reports to track sales performance.
Perform ad hoc analysis to uncover actionable insights for sales strategy refinement.
Design effective customer segmentation and territory plans to optimize sales efforts.
Lead end-to-end analytics projects, including the development of complex dashboards.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand requirements and provide analytical support that drives sales outcomes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Expertise in SQL programming and dashboard/report development.
Proficient in data visualization tools, preferably Tableau.
Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
Industry Experience:
Prior experience in sales analytics, preferably within the software or financial services domain, is highly desirable. A candidate located in the Bay Area is preferred for a hybrid working model, but remote candidates in the Pacific time zone will also be considered.
