AGM Tech Solutions, on behalf of the Client - a Global Technology Company, is hiring a Q/A Automation Engineer
Skills Required:
1.Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks
2. Good proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries and experience with manual database testing.
2. Extensive experience with Cypress, MABL, and other JavaScript-based automation tools
3. Solid understanding of DOM structure, HTML, and CSS
4. Proficiency in test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD) frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Jest)
5. Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
6. Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Axios) and performance testing concepts
7. Familiarity with accessibility testing tools and WCAG guidelines
8. Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems (JIRA, TestRail)
9. Understanding of Agile methodologies and cross-browser testing principles
10. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using JavaScript-based tools (Cypress, MABL) and BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
- Create end-to-end, integration, and unit tests for web applications
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
- Perform API and performance testing to ensure backend service integrity
- Conduct cross-browser, responsive design, and accessibility testing
- Implement automated accessibility checks using appropriate tools and guidelines
- Analyze test results, identify bugs, and collaborate on issue resolution
- Maintain test documentation and participate in code reviews
- Explore and implement new testing tools and methodologies
- Monitor test metrics to improve testing efficiency
- Mentor team members in automation and accessibility testing best practices
- Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to process improvements
