Position Overview: As a Software Engineer, you will work closely as a part of our development team to design, implement, and maintain software applications. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse tech stack, including Java Spring Boot, Laravel PHP, and various AWS infrastructure and tools.
What You Will Do:
Assist in the design, development, testing, and release of software applications using Laravel PHP and Java Spring Boot.
Construct queries to store and retrieve data from a number of different databases, including MySQL, Amazon RDS, Amazon Redshift, and Databricks
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance performance and user experience.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate new ideas into projects.
About You:
3+ years of experience in back-end software development.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Understanding of RESTful APIs, web development principles, object-oriented programming, and software engineering concepts.
Experience with MySQL or other relational database design/advanced query construction.
Experienced with AWS or other cloud infrastructure, Git, CICD, and test-driven development.
Experience with Java Spring Boot and/or Laravel PHP is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate ideas clearly.

For Colorado-based employment: The target salary range is $96,000 - $126,000. In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
For Washington-based employment:
The base salary range for this position is $106,000 to $138,000.
Compensation may vary inside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the employee’s total compensation package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, commissions, profit-sharing, or other stock compensation.
