Job Summary:
The Business Systems Analyst I will perform software administration, training, and end-user support for all software applications. Have a solid understanding of business functional areas like Accounts Payable, Purchasing and data analysis. Lead and Develop efforts to analyze business practices and find ways to reduce inefficient, redundant processes. Assist implementation of new solutions or utilize existing systems or tools that allow Operational & Accounting departments to use technology more productively.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Key member of the Application Support Teams including JDE, Envision, and System Integrations with Pivotal (CRM), Website, and reporting
Identifying and learning additional software applications used and supported by the organization moving forward
Design and assist in project development, software administration and software security
Maintain and enhance performance of all new and existing software and applications
Troubleshooting and fixing software issues.
Testing, documenting, and following through with new and existing software applications patches & releases
Performing post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved
Write detailed specifications and work with developers for new enhancements, queries & reports
Document process flows & manuals for new and existing software systems where needed
Train end-users on new processes and procedures
Providing IT support for regulatory and compliance activities
Perform additional duties as requested.
Requirements
Minimum Education Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in specialized training from a four-year college or technical school combined with a minimum of ten years related experience; related supervisory experience; thorough knowledge of home building industry relative to required information systems.
Skills and Abilities:
Project Management
Highly motivated, self starter
Experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One a plus
Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software a plus
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint a plus
Experience with Business Intelligence tools a plus
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Good knowledge of homebuilding accounting, costing, and purchasing
The ability to present ideas in business friendly and user-friendly language
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
Must have strong analytical, decision-making, negotiating and communication skills to analyze business problems and suggest and implement solutions
Working Conditions:
