The Lead Solution Architect Dynamics 365 Business Central is responsible for collaborating with internal partners to architect solutions as it relates to pre-sales, client engagements in order to develop and implement systems, applications, and services.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate with team members and clients to establish requirements, define project scope, and communicate status, issues, features, and release plans.
Effectively lead solution design for Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) implementation projects, managing design to scope, quality assurance, goals, and project timelines.
Blueprint and design complex, integrated Dynamics 365 BC solutions across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Retail areas.
Produces a gap-fit analysis document with a proposed solution for each requirement. Outlines the necessary configuration of Dynamics 365 BC solutions, leveraging platform capabilities to meet unique business needs while minimizing the need for custom code.
Proficient in Dynamics 365 BC functionality as well as commonly used ISVs.
Own the defined architecture and make decisions about the best approaches to implement the system.
Focus on the integration of business process and data in between modules and external applications.
Provides technical leadership and guidance to development teams (in North America and/or global) throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
Manage quality assurance checkpoint and provide general leadership on every step of the customer implementation engagement, and review all design documents, estimations and validate test scenarios.
Generate Solution Design Documents (SDD's), Functional Design Documents (FDD’s) and Functional Reference Documents (FRD's) that are of high quality, clear, specific, and directly reflect the customer's business process requirements and needs.
Contribute to sales proposals where needed to show advanced solution concepts and technical approaches to business problems.
Maintain an active knowledge of basic Microsoft application portfolio, licensing, development, and integration concepts.
Research new and innovative solution approaches and consider ways to support upcoming platform capabilities.
Ability to work collaboratively across practices, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or related field from an accredited college or university
In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, 3 years of experience in the same or closely related field/occupation, may be counted towards 1 year of education
Two (2) or more Certifications Relevant certifications in Dynamics 365 BC and Power Platform are highly desirable.
Job-related Experience
Customarily has at least 12 years of leadership or mentorship experience
Customarily has at least 10 years of client facing project management experience
Customarily has at least 8 years of technical experience with minimum of 4 years in BC
Customarily has at least 6 years of position specific experience with minimum of 3 years in BC

Salary Range
The following information is required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act and applies only to individuals working in the state of Colorado. The anticipated starting pay range for Denver, Colorado applicants for this role is $128,033 - $174,793 with a median of $151,588. Actual compensation is impacted by a number of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, specific work locations and any potential licenses and certifications required for that role.
The following information is required by the California Equal Pay Transparency Act and applies only to individuals working in the state of California. The anticipated starting pay range for Irvine, California applicants for this role is $135,848-$185,461 with a median of $160,840. Actual compensation is impacted by a number of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, specific work locations and any potential licenses and certifications required for that role.
