The Business Applications Manager will focus on manufacturing applications, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), and WMS (Warehouse Management System) management. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, project management, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), Data Warehousing, and a business intelligence tool to streamline our operations and drive business efficiency.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and optimize the utilization of ERP, WMS & CRM systems

Ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes within the ERP framework

Utilize knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar ERP platforms to enhance system capabilities

Provide support for system configurations, customization, and user training

Lead and support IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new solutions or enhancements

Implement and manage Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes to facilitate efficient data exchange with external partners

Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse(s) to support analytics and reporting requirements

Leverage PowerBI and/or other business intelligence tools to create insightful dashboards and reports

Certifications (a plus):

Project Management Professional (PMP)

PMI Professional in Business Analytics (PBA)

Six Sigma Certifications

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong professional communication skills (written and verbal)

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Experience managing, supporting, developing, and/or analyzing ERP or related applications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central

Working knowledge of BarTender or similar label design software

Experience working with Scan Guns, Tablets, label printers and other equipment in support of manufacturing operations.

Deep understanding of Core Business Processes: Lead to Quote, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Capable of critical thinking for unique and unusual situations

Demonstrates a high level of ethical behavior and professionalism in exercising judgment and discretion
