AminoChain is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our innovative team. As the UI/UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and interfaces of novel healthcare applications on our decentralized protocol infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and visually stunning designs that improve the usability and accessibility of our platform.

At AminoChain, our mission is to build the future of trust in science and healthcare, creating a world where patients are at the heart of biomedical research outcomes. We're developing the world’s first decentralized protocol infrastructure for healthcare applications, connecting hospitals, biobanks, and bio-pharma companies to unlock the full potential of donated biological samples.

Responsibilities

As part of the founding team members, you will work in a lean team to iteratively improve user experience, take new features from ideation to prototyping, user testing and through to production

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop design concepts

Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas

Design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with our brand identity guidelines

Conduct user research and gather feedback to iterate and improve design solutions

Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across our platform

Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth implementation of designs

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design

Requirements

Passionate and interested in Crypto and blockchain; Candidates with prio biotech products a definite plus

Prior early stage / start-up experience

Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field

Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role

Excellence in UX thinking, visual design and written communication

Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Canva, or Adobe XD

Strong portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX design projects

Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices

Knowledge of responsive design and experience designing for Web and Mobile devices

Familiarity with front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
