Responsibilities:
Works on small to medium projects to develop data applications as a team member

Assists other data engineers on support and development

Collaborates with internal stakeholders

Understanding of relational database concepts with a solid knowledge of star schema, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Tuning, OLAP, Big Data technologies, SnowFlake

Intermediate to advanced skills in python, Pytorch,tensorflow and other deep learning frameworks 

Understanding of Hadoop ecosystem

Experience in Cerner or EPIC is bonus

Experience with cloud technologies is a plus

Expert in working with large databases, BI applications, data quality, and performance tuning

Excellent communication skills, ability to work individually and in a broader geographically dispersed team

Understanding of data gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling/diagramming techniques

Willing to be on call to troubleshoot problems during off hours with experience in Data Platform Support

Remote eligible.

Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Medical, or Business discipline or equivalent experience.

2+ Years preferred

0-2 years experience with scripting(Shell, Python)

0-2 years of experience in Data Platform Support
