Description

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a continuing requirement for Homeland Enterprise Information Technology Secure Services & Support (HEITS) for the continual operations and maintenance and evolution of the Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN) and the Classified Local Area Network (C-LAN).

Leidos is seeking a candidate to provide Tier 1 and 2 support for multiple domains with users locally and remotely, with excellent communication skills and the ability to support VIP and VVIP customers. Additional responsibilities include imaging, installing, and configuring workstations and troubleshooting Windows 10 and above and Microsoft Office suite. Candidate should be interested in learning new technology and providing support to the user community.

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Communicating and interfacing with customers and Leidos Site Lead on issues and daily tasking.

• Providing Tier 1 and 2 support for multiple domains with users locally and remotely.

• Troubleshooting workstation, printers, and other peripheral devices.

• Imaging, installing, and configuring workstations.

• Troubleshooting Windows 10 and above, as well as Microsoft Office suite.

• Learning new technology and providing support to the user community as well as issuing and maintaining Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) tokens.

• Working with automated Help Desk tools such as Microsoft System Center, Remedy, and ServiceNow.

• Troubleshooting Citrix desktop visualization environment and thin client.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience

Strong problem solving and organizational skills and able to work in a professional environment.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Clearance Requirement: ability to obtain TS/SCI

Preferred Qualifications

DHS or other government contract experience.

Knowledge of HEITS processes.

Comfortable discussing technical information with users and other support personnel.

Ability to quickly learn new systems and IT concepts.

Strong problem solving and decision making skills.

Ability to work autonomously as well as an integral member of a team.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $48,100.00 - $86,950.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
