Oracle Fusion EPM Architect
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Candidate Preference: Candidates located in Georgia
Role Summary:
The Oracle Fusion EPM Architect is a key technical leader responsible for shaping the architectural vision and design for large-scale, complex EPM solutions, specifically focused on Global Financial Core and Regulatory Reporting. The Architect will work closely with stakeholders, vendors, and development teams to ensure the solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture strategy and meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
Define and evolve the architectural vision for large-scale EPM solutions, working with stakeholders to refine designs based on emerging business requirements.
Lead solution-driven discussions and guide the design of complex architectures, leveraging practical experiments and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
Partner with the Product Manager/Business Owner to prioritize technology-focused backlog items that support the architecture runway and enable new business opportunities.
Collaborate with development teams, providing clarity on the architecture and offering solutions to address any architectural challenges.
Perform design and code reviews to ensure compliance with non-functional requirements (security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, reliability).
Assist the Principal Engineer in selecting the optimal technology stack and preferred technology products.
Contribute to the development of best practices, standardized templates, and the architecture roadmap for EPM domains.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
Deep expertise in Oracle EPM Analytics and Oracle Expense module.
Proven track record in defining and implementing architectural visions for large, complex solutions.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and strategies.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in leading solution design discussions and facilitating collaborative decision-making.
Hands-on experience with technology evaluations and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
Proficiency in conducting design and code reviews to ensure adherence to architectural standards and non-functional requirements.
Experience with Agile methodologies and working with development teams in an Agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in Oracle EPM Cloud or related technologies.
Experience in the financial services industry.
Familiarity with other Oracle Cloud applications.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
