Job Title: Editorial Programmer

Location: Cupertino, CA or Culver City, CA(Hybrid Onsite)

Duration: 6 Months (Potential To Extend)

Type: Full-time, Contract

Schedule Note: Note that job will require a twice-weekly shifted schedule to accommodate content launches, ending at approximately 6:30pm PST on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

Description:

This Editorial Programmer will manage the Fitness+ content in Fitness app for iPhone, iPad, and TV. This includes new weekly workouts and meditations, Collections, Trainer Tips, Artist Spotlight, and other priority initiatives. They will ensure that all assets, metadata and other deliverables are presented at the right time to our customers, every time.

This person will also partner with engineering to further develop the internal content management system and other tools, as well as make ongoing recommendations to improve the customer experience. They will assist in the development of unreleased features by programming content and editorial in testing environments.

This role requires close collaboration with fitness, content, business, marketing, engineering, and design teams.

Qualifications:

Experience in online media, e-commerce, and/or content programming.

Ability to successfully organize, prioritize and run multiple projects under strict deadlines

Excellent communication, collaboration, and planning skills

Enjoys working with digital technology and tools for web-based production

Seeking experienced video content programmer comfortable and proficient in working with CMS tools.

Successful candidate would be an organized, thoughtful, team-oriented self-starter with a keen eye for detail, who thrives in a fast-paced work environment.

Strong preference for candidates familiar with client s ecosystem s content.

Additional familiarity with AirTable & Wrike a plus.

Most important though is a passion for video, especially TV.

Should be fluent in the biggest titles from both network & streaming, as well as surprise hits and fan favourites.

A fan without being a snob, should have a keen eye for what s good across genres and a strong editorial view of what folks should be watching now and why.
