Summary:
This position operates within a large production center, responsible for printing marketing materials for Stanley Black and Decker, servicing clients such as Home Depot, Lowe's, Ace Hardware, and various tradeshows. The role focuses on the production of banners, window clings, highway signs, truck decals, and more.

As part of an in-house print shop team with approximately 14 members, Field Representative II will operate wide-format digital printers, manage color consistency and branding standards, and utilize both flat-bed and roll-feed printing techniques. Familiarity with Onyx software and CNC cutting machines is essential, as the worker will also be trained to operate a Colex cutting machine in compliance with OSHA safety standards. A strong vision is required to handle Pantone coloring effectively.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, communication, and math skills, as they will collaborate closely with both the customer and the design team. The ability to interpret print layouts and provide seamless coordination with design requests is critical.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate high-end wide-format printing equipment, including digital printers and CNC cutting machines.

Collaborate with customers and design teams to ensure accurate print layouts and branding.

Manage the production of marketing materials (banners, decals, signs) in a timely and error-free manner.

Ensure color consistency using Pantone standards and troubleshoot technical equipment issues.

Maintain a clean, organized workspace and uphold professional appearance and communication.

Follow all safety protocols, particularly OSHA standards when operating the Colex cutting machine.

Monitor and manage inventory of printing supplies and equipment parts.

Demonstrate proficiency in transferring files electronically and calibrating equipment for optimal print quality.

Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on printing equipment, resolving jams, refilling toner, and reporting equipment failures.

Maintain all necessary reporting tools and meet performance standards set by the facility.

Handle additional tasks as required, including copier operation, QC checks, mailroom duties, and other office support services.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of 3 years of related experience (5 years preferred), with expertise in wide-format digital printing.

Proficiency in Onyx software and experience with flat-bed and roll-feed printing.

Familiarity with CNC cutting machines and ability to follow safety protocols.

A strong vision for color accuracy and branding.

Excellent customer service, communication, and math skills.

Ability to troubleshoot and maintain complex office and printing equipment.

Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.

Work Environment:

Primarily an office setting with standard lighting, ventilation, and noise levels.

Tasks may involve some physical effort, including lifting up to 70 lbs, and standing, walking, or bending as necessary.

Regular use of basic tools and equipment, requiring moderate dexterity.

This position reports to the Site Manager, Site Supervisor, or Assistant Site Manager, depending on site structure.
