Job Description
The McDonalds Global Experience Design team is a key part of the Customer Experience team (MCX), crafting user-centered journeys that deliver a cohesive and meaningful experience to our customers and crew members around the world. As a visual designer and UI specialist for our employee-facing products, you’ll help lead the evolution of our design language across digital interfaces and experiences for our internal employee tools and restaurant tools that run our kitchens.
To succeed in this role, you’ll have 5+ years of deep, demonstrable experience in the following areas:
· Elevating the quality of experiences through your industry-leading expertise in visual style, interaction patterns, and emerging design trends
· Defining what best-in-class looks like for designers, engineers, and product managers, and showing them how to get there
· Regularly auditing existing experiences to improve on or incorporate components, patterns, and tools that scale consistency and efficiency
· Emphasizing the customer and business value of inclusive interfaces and experiences that incorporate WCAG, Apple HIG, and Material Design best practices
· Managing complexity and ambiguity while leading through craft.
