Job description
We are looking for an Observability & Telemetry architect, developer and subject matter expert who has knowledge of LMR infrastructure systems, fault management, observability, and error log detections.They will perform analytics using AI/Client techniques leveraging Cloud based solutions on systems logs and telemetry data to detect & identify specific patterns, and develop insights on root cause recommendations. They will understand user requirements and translate them into AI solutions that turbocharge operational efficiencies to quickly identify problems and possible resolutions. Many of these AI solutions will be enabled within the core technologies used within CMSO, including Salesforce and ServiceNow. In other instances, you will also be responsible for building custom predictive and prescriptive Client models for preventative system health checks, system log analytics, automated root cause analysis etc.
Technical Experience:
Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres, Elastic Search, Mongo and Cassandra.
Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Airflow, Nifi, Azkaban, Luigi, etc.
Experience with Azure/AWS cloud services: S3, EMR, RDS, Redshift, Azure Blob
Good experience in query languages and writing complex queries with joins that deals with a large amount of data
Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture to ingest, transform, and load data into OpenSearch
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS 'big data' technologies.
Keep our data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers and AWS regions.
Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable 'big data' data stores.
Implement and optimize search algorithms and data structures to improve search relevance and performance
Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in OpenSearch clusters
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OpenSearch with other systems and applications
Deep understanding of various AWS native services including S3, EC2, Lambda, OpenSearch and/or Elasticsearch
Invent the future of search and log analytics in the cloud
Experience with stream-processing systems: Storm, Spark-Streaming, etc.
Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, C++, etc.
Experience in Scripting like bash/shell/powershell for windows and linux environments.
Knowledge to parse html by using complex xpaths and JSON outputs with json modules.
Good Experience in Web Scraping framework Scrapy, Selenium, sqlalchemy, pandas, Beautifulsoup or other frameworks and related libraries
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or an IT related field
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 5+ years experience in architecting and developing observability & telemetry solutions, employing data analytics, data mining, machine learning including predictive, prescriptive, conversational or generative AI to solve business problems
Minimum of 5+ years experience in hands-on design, coding, development and deployment using data science tools such as Python, Tensorflow etc. to build AI solutions
Minimum of 5+ years experience working with one of the leading public clouds (AWS, Google, Azure)
Knowledge of ServiceNow and Salesforce products and features
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Be able to work under pressure
Ability to Multitask, Prioritize and Manage time effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across teams, functional groups
