OnBase Systems Developer and Administrator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hyland OnBase Systems Administrator to support the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of the OnBase solution. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for all application software, database, and hardware related to the OnBase platform, including planning and executing necessary software and hardware upgrades. The OnBase Systems Administrator will be responsible for daily application administration, monitoring, and maintenance support, while assisting in the design, development, and implementation of electronic business processes to replace paper records. This role also requires providing planned maintenance and emergency support during non-business hours as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide prompt technical support to end users, addressing their needs efficiently.

Collaborate with System Administrators, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and other IT staff to ensure smooth operations and project success.

Manage and prioritize daily tasks, live production issues, projects, and customer support requests.

Review current processes, hardware, and software, ensuring resources are functioning properly and efficiently. Validate technical specifications and infrastructure requirements.

Assist in planning, setup, and configuration of infrastructure architecture, server hardware, and operating systems as needed.

Plan, schedule, and execute software maintenance and upgrades during off-hours maintenance windows.

Design, develop, test, and migrate new project solutions or enhancements across SIT, UAT, and Production environments.

Document, evaluate, prioritize, and resolve technical defects.

Provide timely response and resolution to issues reported during standard and off-hours.

Monitor system operations and capacity to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Create detailed documentation for system changes, processes, and distribute them to relevant stakeholders.

Coordinate with DOC/PBPP OnBase Support Vendor (currently Keymark) for technical support as necessary.

Assist in the discovery and documentation of business requirements for new OnBase solutions.

Support the training of identified subject matter experts (SMEs) on OnBase functionalities and processes.

Communicate system downtimes and project deployment schedules with business owners and end users.

Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot external integrations within OnBase.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an OnBase Systems Administrator or similar role, with a strong understanding of OnBase solutions.

Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting electronic document management systems.

Strong technical knowledge of infrastructure architecture, server hardware, and operating systems.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and handle live production issues.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to document processes and train users.

Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with various IT roles.

Availability for planned maintenance and emergency support during non-business hours.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with the Public Safety sector and related IT systems.

Experience with external integrations within OnBase.

Certification in OnBase or relevant technologies.
