Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance
Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
Document and communicate the results of their efforts
Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
Perform detailed requirements analysis, document processes, and perform some user acceptance testing
Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions
Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
Stay up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
Perform requirements analysis
Document and communicate the results of your efforts
Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports
Work closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff
Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff
Allocate resources and maintaining cost efficiency
Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
Perform user acceptance testing
Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance
Update, implement and maintain procedures
Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users
Manage competing resources and priorities
Monitor deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects
Responsible for capturing and refining business and/or system requirements (based on specialization)
Work with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze problems, and capture their requirements, and then work closely with the Development Team to refine the requirement into specifications that can be executed by the team
Develop an understanding of stakeholder needs to help create a solution, envisions the solution to solve a problem (manual or through software)
Analyze the stakeholder process to build efficiencies and also analyzes the software to improve or implement that process
Requirements:
Project Management experience
Enterprise Risk Management experience
Business Analyst experience
Possess a foundational understanding of the business and/or technical domain based on their specialization
Desired skills:
Able to evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and uncovering areas for improvement
Able to work closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff
Good communication skills and capable of working as a team player
Experience with MS Office Excel/PowerPoint
