Key Responsibilities:

Transform complex financial concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly messaging for various digital platforms, including web, mobile, and in-app content.

Own and evolve the UX writing guidelines: Establish and maintain clear, consistent UX content guidelines and tone of voice for all products and platforms.

Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with product designers, developers, product managers, marketers, and legal teams to ensure a cohesive, compliant, and user-friendly experience.

Ensure clarity and consistency: Apply meticulous attention to detail to create organized, thoughtful messaging that aligns with both business goals and user needs.

Conduct UX research & content testing: Use qualitative and quantitative research methods, such as A/B testing and user feedback, to refine and optimize content that drives user engagement and conversion.

Create intuitive, user-centered experiences: Help guide users through complex processes, such as student loan refinancing or mortgage applications, in a way that reduces friction and enhances the overall experience.

Contribute to design systems: Collaborate with designers to ensure content supports and integrates into the overall design, minimizing handoffs and streamlining processes.

Influence product strategy: Leverage data-driven insights to help shape the product roadmap and content strategy, driving business outcomes while maintaining a user-first approach.

Promote accessibility and inclusivity: Ensure all UX writing adheres to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) to create inclusive experiences for all users.

Adapt in a fast-paced environment: Manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a dynamic and rapidly evolving setting.

Key Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in UX writing, content strategy, or related fields, particularly within fintech, digital banking, or similarly regulated industries.

Portfolio demonstrating UX writing expertise, including end-to-end writing processes and examples of how you have successfully improved user experiences.

Cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with designers, developers, product managers, and marketers to ensure cohesive, user-centered messaging.

UX research and testing experience: Familiarity with user testing methods, A/B testing, and using data-driven insights to improve content.

Ownership of content guidelines: Experience in developing and managing UX writing guidelines to maintain consistency across all platforms.

Excellent writing and editing skills: Impeccable grammar, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a brand’s tone and voice while writing clear and concise copy.

Creative problem-solving: Ability to craft messaging that solves user pain points, simplifies user interactions, and enhances the overall product experience.

Soft Skills:

Curiosity: A desire to learn about the product, the user, and the industry to deliver more effective and engaging content.

Organization and meticulousness: The ability to manage and structure content in an organized way that reflects careful planning and thoughtful execution.

Business-mindedness: A clear understanding of the balance between supporting the user and achieving business goals.

Adaptability: Comfort in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines, and shifting priorities as needed.

Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, working effectively with teams across departments to achieve shared goals.
