Leidos is looking for a Senior Systems Analyst to support the Civil Rights Division of DOJ. The Systems Analyst will support to outreach efforts to Civil Rights Division litigative consultants to coordinate contract modifications and assess security safeguards.
Please Note: This is a hybrid position with at least two days onsite in the office in Washington, DC; candidate must reside in the Washington, DC metro area.
Typical Responsibilities include:
Works out the details of functional and design requirements, systems design, programming specifications, data elements, data validation specifications, data capture mechanisms, and data conversion procedures through discussions with Government staff and own superiors.
Translates the functional requirements into systems designs suitable for development of appropriate computer programs.
Makes presentations of findings, recommendations, and specifications in formal reports and in oral presentations.
Consults with Government staff and with other Contractor staff to assure understanding of task objectives, identifies problems and suggests improvements.
Performs full stack development and implementation for computation customization, SQL Server, SharePoint and web based application development, maintenance, and support for corporate Intranet and application systems using cost effective techniques.
Develops, maintains and supports web-based applications for Corporate Intranet and Application systems.
Works with stakeholders and requirements analysts to understand business needs.
Designs and documents technical specifications.
Designs and develops SQL Server database structures and processes.
Works closely with other programmers.
Generates coding web applications.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 8+ years of related experience
Must have in-depth / hands on experience using one or more of the following: Service Now, Power apps Suit and backend data store (Power App, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, SQL server, SharePoint online) or Extending cloud.gov Python, PostgreSQL, AWS, CI/CD, Git Hub, Java scripting)
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
Must demonstrate ability to analyze system requirements and translate those requirements into a coherent system design
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in automated litigation support very helpful.
Undergraduate degree strongly preferred; preferably in the computer science or information management/technology disciplines.
Please note that the expected salary for this position is around $110,000.
