Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Lead B. This role will support the production team to achieve plan by continuously improving on process efficiency and line performance.
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay Range: $28.00 / hour
Shift Differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate shift differential paid for applicable hours worked

Ability to work holidays and weekends per business needs
Key Responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Performs routine preventative and corrective maintenance and testing on equipment Perform maintenance tasks to include repairing and improving, from minor rebuilds to major overhauls on all equipment
- Participate in preventative maintenance program to help reduce costs of operations through PM optimization
- Dismantles, cleans, repairs and tests electrical, electronic and mechanical components to determine component-level failure
- Maintains preventative maintenance logs and accurate records of all testing and repairs
- Recommends equipment to be included in preventive maintenance programs. Perform Preventative Maintenance task to identify all potential mechanical and electrical issues with equipment throughout the plant. Rebuild worn-out, but reusable, pieces of equipment, such as gearboxes for scheduled PM’s
- Troubleshoot/ investigate and repair all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and utility systems including chillers, air compressors etc. Eliminates problems from recurring utilizing the Breakdown Analysis process
- Areas of responsibility will include but are not limited to: Production support, Mechanical Room, Water Processing, Boiler Room, Waste Water Treatment, Water Chemical Treatment Program
- Operate, changeover, clean, troubleshoot, and complete basic maintenance on production equipment consisting of fillers,
labelers, case packers, and wrappers
- Record preventative maintenance activities, quality inspection data, equipment downtime, production output and other key
metrics, performing mathematical calculations as needed
- Meet or exceed performance metrics including efficiency, production, downtime
- Ensure quality product is sent to customers by completing hourly quality checks
- Inspect raw materials against quality standards before loading raw materials
- Interact with team members, quality assurance and maintenance to maximize output and efficiency
- Maintain work area in an organized and clean manner ensuring safety and Good Manufacturing Practices are met
- Work as a team with other operators to ensure no line stoppages and improve operations
- Cross training to perform work on other lines or in other production areas as needed
- Provide vacation coverage to team members as needed
Qualifications
- 1 year minimum production maintenance experience
- 2 or more years prior experience in production within manufacturing, ideally in the food or beverage industry or a clean manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated Safe work habits
- Solid background in all aspects of mechanical maintenance
- Reading and use of blueprints and technical manuals
- Preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical repair, troubleshooting using a data driven systematic approach, rebuilding equipment, lifting, rigging, lubrication.
- Using hand and specialty tools
- Understanding and use of precision measurement
- Must be proficient with TPM and the principles of AM and PM
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Solid computer skills, including the use of Word, Excel, Outlook and enterprise management software (SAP)
- Ability to work independently or with a team and communicate effectively - Solid problem solving and decision making skills
- Comfort working in a high speed production environment
- Ability to move/lift 50 lbs various times over a 10 hour shift, basic math and reading skills
- Willingness to work holidays and weekends as we are a 24/7business operating through most weekends and holidays
- Ability to successfully complete an online skills assessment prior to onsite interview Successful completion of a post offer physical, drug screen and background check are required
- Willingness and ability to work in a facility with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hold and cold)
