This role will be based in our Glen Allen, VA office.  We offer a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in the office; and 1 day remote where it makes sense to do so.

Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for transforming data into insights that supports our business partners.  Using data analytics, data visualization, the position will create actionable intelligence that will inform strategic business decisions and promote an analytical culture throughout the organization.

 

Produces data visualization such as charts, infographic and dashboards to communicate findings and actionable recommendations to internal stakeholders clearly and effectively.

Serves as a liaison for their business partner(s) with other teams/departments (Regional OUs, RSS, Enterprise) to develop and enhance solutions that improve decision-making processes.

Produces analysis and communicates insights that are actionable by business partners. Researches, designs, implements and validates solutions to achieve targeted outcomes.

Explores and conditions the data. Develops and deploys solutions using data analysis, data mining, optimization tools, machine learning techniques and statistics.

Serves as a catalyst in business intelligence capabilities and champion of self-serve analytics capabilities.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree; or 5-7 years’ experience as a business analyst, or other comparable analytics role. 

Possess strong analytical ability to dissect, manage and interpret all levels of data

Expertise in analyzing large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets using a variety of tools.

Strong business acumen with the ability to communicate to business partners

In-depth knowledge of the business practice and process

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including presentation skills

Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

Strong customer orientation, relationship building, teamwork and collaboration skills

Work independently as well as effectively manage a project and/or lead a team

Regularly and consistently demonstrates commitment to company values and guiding principles

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Microsoft SQL and business intelligence/visual analytics skills required

Ability to travel on an occasional basis
