Our client is seeking a Senior Software Administrator – File Transfer to perform the necessary analysis and design tasks related to the development of an application architecture aligned with the IT and business strategy for assigned project work. This role requires expertise in IBM's Sterling File Gateway software.
Key Accountabilities:
Install, configure and maintain software tools used for file transfers, in support of our enterprise file transfer service.
Collaborate with development teams, infrastructure teams, and external business partners to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot file transfer connections.
Create, maintain, and share technical documentation related to supporting the company's enterprise file transfer service.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent knowledge acquired via work experience or other training.
Experience with Windows and Unix operating systems, TCP/IP networks, and file transfer protocols.
Experience with Sterling File Gateway and BPML.
3-5+ years of experience in related IT work experience supporting file transfer software and services.
Strong analytical skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in teams.
