Overview:
Heritage Christian Services is seeking a Business Process Analyst. In this role you will be responsible for evaluating the ever changing business needs and processes at Heritage Christian. In this collaborative role,
you will analyze, design and oversee implementation of business processes to gain accuracy, efficiency and effect change. To support the mission, vision and values of Heritage Christian Services, Inc.
Pay range for this position: $ 58468 - $77958 / year
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above range represents the organization's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting
Responsibilities:
Evaluation of business needs, internal workflows and business processes.
Deliver specifications to include workflow, business rules, interface requirements, and outstanding issues.
Creating and maintaining business process flow diagrams.
Drive initiatives to improve processes, documentation, policies, tools, and systems that enable the success of our business.
Drive efficiencies of people and process within our business, including "cutting new trails" where processes, documentation, and policies do not exist.
Responsible for understanding strategic initiatives and departmental level goals.
Perform process or functional analysis to identify gaps compared to specifications.
Responsible for day-to-day engagement with business and/or process subject matter experts.
Interface with business teams to determine functional and technology requirements that support organizational business goals, documenting those requirements, and working with Application Data Leads, Managers, Project Managers, and IT to deliver business technology solutions.
Acts as liaison between business and IT for assigned projects. Assists review of business case documents, project plans and schedules to ensure it is accurate and valid to required business needs
Facilitate sessions with all relevant stakeholders to drive clarity and agreement on requirements.
Documentation of requirements, test case oversight and change management procedures from a business owner perspective for existing mission critical systems & applications ensuring change meets (or exceeds) business objectives
Reviews, updates and develops documentation including but not limited to: requirements, process workflows, user stories, use cases, data mapping/validations, business rules, scripts, and procedures for future reference or use.
Creation of highly detailed artifacts that support current and future state of business processes and supporting data analysis; including Business Requirements, Data Details, and Technical Designs

Resolve challenges by identifying root causes.

Technical Aptitude:
Document current and future processes accurately.
Adept with the use of Figma, Visio or equivalent to document processes
Adept at JIRA and the use of the Kanban board to drive project tasks
Adept at MS Power BI, with the ability to create the first round of technical designs, using star schemas
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s of Science in Applied Business Analytics (or equivalent) preferred
1-3 years minimum experience in one or more of the following:
Business analytics (use of data, statistical and quantitative analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and fact-based management to drive decision making and analytical problem solving),
Requirements analysis and solution design, and business process analysis and redesign
Process improvement tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) or statistics as well as experience in the implementation of business process mapping tools
