Front End Developer
Fort Belvoir, VA
MUST:
Experienced Front-End Developer
Secret Clearance Required
4+ years' experience:
JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, Angular, Vue, or React. (Angular used heavily at present)
HTML and CSS, including CSS frameworks such as Material Design, Bootstrap, or Foundation.
UI development, data analysis and visualization, and software design.
Agile development and tools such as JIRA, Git, Gitlab, and Bitbucket, methodologies, and three-week sprints.
Developing for the Cloud (AWS, Azure) and closed environments.
Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and design patterns.
Working independently and as a member of a team, collaborating with others, leading tasks and managing task team members, and easily transitioning between these roles.
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker.
Experience supporting and working with US military clients.
Possess excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Certifications: DoD 8570 Compliant Security+ or CISSP Certification (Preferred but not required
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or other relevant and acceptable field
DUTIES:
Build and maintain web applications and user interfaces using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test new features and functionality.
Create clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and design patterns.
Identify, troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues as they arise.
Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to gather requirements and understand user needs.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.
Attend, participate in, and provide value-added to daily stand-up meetings.
