Our client, a leading international bank located in Midtown Manhattan, is looking to hire a FULL TIME IT Programmer/Business Analyst. This role is 3 days onsite This individual Be responsible for the support and further development of our interfaces using Python, VBScript , VBA Excel and Microsoft SQL. Be responsible for the full life cycle of projects for specific Windows based applications. This includes requirements analysis, writing of specifications, recommendation, planning, coding and testing, implementation, documentation and support. Provide back-up support for our off-the-shelf Business Applications. Work extensively with end users.

REQUIREMENTS

Current programming skills in Python, Visual Basic and VB Scripts.

Current database skills with Microsoft SQL

Business analysis experience in Banking Front/Middle/ Back office operations, products, systems such as Summit, Actimize

Prior experience as Programmer/Analyst and in working with end users to develop requirements and implement solutions.

Be able to analyze business requirements and write functional specifications

Be able to develop/understand test plans and follow them for testing, interacting with users

Experience with system implementation/upgrades to be able to validate results or analyze differences from various phases of testing.

Strong communication skills and experience in working cross-functional teams.

Excellent documentation skills

Be able to prioritize work based on business needs and requirements

Salary 100-115k
