Primary Skills: SAP-TMS (Expert), Logistics (Intermediate), TMS Implementation (Advanced), S4 Hana (Advanced), OTR/DTR (Intermediate)
Contract Type: W2
Duration: 6+ Months with possible extension
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Remote, Need base travel, PST Hours)
Pay Range: $90 - $100 per hour
Job Summary:
This position calls for an experienced SAP TMS Consultant with a minimum of 10 years overall experience, including at least 5 years dedicated to SAP TMS and involvement in at least one lifecycle implementation. The successful candidate will be skilled in the customization and support of SAP TMS, possessing strong knowledge in enterprise structure, transport management processes, and SAP TM integration with other modules. The role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, aiming to support and enhance our logistics and transportation management systems effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support project initiatives and departments using SAP, focusing primarily on Transportation Management.
Ensure comprehensive transport management processes involving order creation to settlement, with a focus on all transportation modes.
Configure, customize, and troubleshoot SAP TMS to meet business needs, while providing technical services for implementation, support, and upgrade projects.
Actively consult and support business teams, addressing queries in SAP TM and ensuring seamless integration with MM, SD, & FICO.
Facilitate end-user training, manage SAP project activities, and perform or manage production support of SAP business processes as needed.
Must Have Skills:
Deep knowledge in SAP TMS with experience in lifecycle implementation(s).
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Domain Experience:
Extensive experience in logistics and transportation logistics business processes is necessary.
